Hey, I found today this web and after sorting out the problems with Fontin and layaureo that also other Mac’s users were having, I got to create a very beautiful CV.

You are right, the problem lies in how Wordpress escapes the slashes, which I don’t always understand!

Check out how to install a font in Windows.
It hasn’t got to do with the specific software.

Thanks for all the useful tips on this page,
I think I have posted earlier but can’t remember where I posted, was just asking where I could get the fontin font to download onto MS word. I checked out the link but can’t seem to download it into Word. Do you know of a way to do this?

I just wanted to let you know that I believe to have found an error.

Where you write
\titleformat{section}{Largescshaperaggedright}{}{0em}{}[\titlerule]
\titlespacing{section}{0pt}{3pt}{3pt}

It should really say
\titleformat{\section}{Largescshaperaggedright}{}{0em}{}[\titlerule]
\titlespacing{\section}{0pt}{3pt}{3pt}

(notice the \section)

Am I right?

I am trying to compile the source code using MacTex tools.
I get the following error in cv.log:

The font you are referring to is not available for free!

The font families are Cronos Pro and Sabon.

Hi Alessandro,

I have been looking for a nice template for my cv. And here I get exactly what I want. Thank you so much for your nice work!

I have one question: What is the font you used in your attached pdf file? It looks more professional and I like it a lot. But it seems the font is not fontin that you defined in the attached tex file. After I complied the tex file, I got different font (I think it is fontin).

For other people trying to get this source to compile, I can confirm that it is possible to make this work by using TeXnic Center 2.0 Alpha 3 and MiKTeX 2.8. Remember to compile using XeLaTeX and to install the required fonts. Thanks very much for this template.
