Hello, my name is Alessandro.
This blog has no particular purpose, except that of serving its author’s curiosity to learn (and not teach) some tricks for beautiful typography, given the increasing presence (better, dominance) of poor softwares for typesetting.
While I’m building this blog, I’m also very committed to the following “projects”:
- running 4 times from bridge to bridge: I’m stuck at 3;
- reading Tolstoj’s “War and Peace”;
- going to work by bicycle starting from Monday, 4th 6th April 2009.
Nice update: I managed to do it today April 7th, 2009!

As for my experience at university, you might be interested in having a look at my final thesis project, gracefully titled “Sublinear and Locally Sublinear Prices” —I have also the .tex source code available, but about that please contact me by posting a comment on some post.
